KATHMANDU, Nov 10: Election Commission (EC) is set to give political parties a two-day window to submit their closed lists under the Proportional representation (PR) system for the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) election.
According to the preliminary election schedule, parties are required to submit their PR closed lists on January 2 and 3, 2026. The EC has stated that the schedule may be revised, if necessary.
With the general election scheduled for March 5, several political parties have already started preparing their candidate lists for the PR category.
