A total of 300 families have been displaced due to the inundation.[break]
The flood has also inundated the northern Behadi and Taranagar area of the municipality.
Following the incident, most of the schools in the area have been shut down. The ongoing examinations have also been called off in local schools.
A rescue operation has been carried out by a team of Nepal Army and Nepal Police following the incident.
