Dhangadhi defeated Kathmandu Cricket Training Center by 105 runs in the final played at the Tundikhel Ground in Kathmandu. Dhangadhi, opting to bat first, scored 248/10 in 44.1 overs as Amit scored 94-runs off 111-balls and Sunil contributed 73 runs facing 91 balls. Sunil smashed a six and nine fours, while Amit hit 13 boundaries.
Manish Sahani of Kathmandu bagged four wickets, while Nandan Yadav, Prittam Thapa and Rajesh Pulami claimed two wickets each.
In reply, Kathmandu was bundled out for 143 runs in 24.3 overs after three bowlers of Dhangadhi picked up three wickets each.
Kathmandu's Sanjay Basnet scored 57 runs off 37 balls smashing a six and eight boundaries, while Aadil Khan added 35 runs playing 32 balls. However, other batsmen failed to come up with notable performance for Kathmandu.
Sunil, Bikram Thagguna and Mahesh Adhikari claimed three wickets each to help Dhangadhi restrict the opposition.
Ashish Dhami of Kathmandu was adjudged player of the tournament, while Sunam Gautam SS Event, Nandan Yadav of Kathmandu and Bishwas Adhikari of Lord Buddha, Rajbir Singh of Dhangadhi, Sudhir Chaudhary of Srijananagar, Sujan Thapaliya of Lord Buddha were awarded as best bowler, fielder, promising and emerging U-19 player of the tournament, respectively.
