Best performers of the tournament were named in the 15-member dream team besides seven extra players. "The DCA shall arrange India tour for the members of the dream team and they shall compete with various teams of India," DCA President Subash Shahi was quoted as saying in a press release issued by it. "The dream team is formed with the concept of providing them as much match exposure as possible. This will be instrumental in transforming them into seasoned cricketers who will contribute in game's development."The tournament featured five teams of Kailali District which were selected through auction for the first time in Nepal. The tournament was played in double round-robin format and the top four teams were give opportunity to vie for the title. Team Chauraha won the title.
Vijay Rana (Santoshi Tole), Bipin Rawal (Team Chauraha), Dipendra Thapa (Chauraha), Gyanendra Kunwar (CYC Attariya ), Sandeep Jora (Chauraha), Bhim Sharki (Hasanpur), Roshan Adhikari (Santoshi Tole), Narayan Joshi (Campus Road), Aman Panthi (Chauraha), Amit Budha (Santoshi Tole), Sagar Bhandari (Campus Road), Lokesh Bam (Campus Road), Bikram Thagunna (Hasanpur), Takendra Bohara (Santoshi Tole) and Naresh Bohara (CYC Attariya) are named in the list of the first 15 players.
Similarly, Amit Padal (Hasanpur), Kiran Kumar Thaguna (Chauraha), Shiv Raj Ayer (Campus Road), Nirajan Singh (Hasanpur), Dipesh Chand (Attariya), Prakash Karki (Santoshi Tole) and Yubaraj Thapa (Santoshi Tole) are picked as extra players.
If the first 15 players fail to participate in the team on the tours, extra players shall replace them while also participating in coaching activities. DCA shall provide training facilities and make all the necessary tour arrangements. It has shared plans to take the team to Mumbai and train them through cricket experts from various cricket academies.
