Dahal couple off to S'pore for treatment

KATHMANDU, July 7: Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal flew to Singapore via Thailand, on Sunday afternoon for the treatment of his spouse Sita. Dahal along with wife Sita and nephew Samir left Kathmandu for Singapore on a Thai Airways flight at 1:30 pm. [break]



Family sources told Republica that they are traveling to Singapore for medical treatment of Sita, who suffers from a liver ailment. Previously, she underwent treatment for the same problem at Bumrungrad International Hospital, Thailand. “This is a follow-up trip,” Prakash, the son of the Dahal couple said. “They will return home in three days," he added. It is said she will be admitted at the Tan Tock Seng Hospital in Singapore.
