DHANUSHA, Oct 25: A husband and wife were found dead in Mithileshwor, Ward 3 of Mithila Bihari Municipality in Dhanusha district, on Sunday morning.
Reena Devi Yadav, 30, who had been staying at her parents’ home, was found with a wound to her neck caused by a sharp weapon. Police suspect that she may have been murdered.

Her husband, Umesh Yadav, 35, was found hanging from a tree about one kilometre from the house, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Om Prakash Khanal, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Dhanusha.
Umesh, a resident of Bharatpur in Ward 4 of Mithila Bihari Municipality, had returned home from foreign employment a few days earlier and visited his in-laws’ home only a day before the incident.
The couple have a four-year-old son, who also sustained a wound to one thigh from a sharp weapon, Khanal said.
Police described the circumstances as suspicious and said they were investigating the scene to establish the cause and circumstances of the deaths.
