Counterfeit notes worth IRs 400,000 confiscated

NEPALGUNJ, June 26: Banke Police have confiscated counterfeit Indian notes worth 400,000 Indian rupees from Bembo Hotel in Gurudwara Road, Nepalgunj.



The notes, which include 350 notes of IRs 500 and 50 notes of IRs 1,000, were seized from Abdul Rahim, Dipak KC and Binay Gautam of Nepalgunj, the police said at a press conference organized on Friday.



According to Bheri Zone Police Chief SSP Narayan Bastakoti, the police were informed about the counterfeit note business in Nepalgunj a long time ago and had since been investigating.
