KATHMANDU, Jan 1: The Ministry of Home Affairs has assigned Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG) Tek Bahadur Tamang the responsibility of the Kathmandu Valley Police Office.
The home ministry transferred AIG Tamang to the Kathmandu Valley Police Office following a decision of the Council of Ministers on Tuesday. He previously worked with the Crime Investigation Department of the Nepal Police.
Kiran Bajracharya, the office head, retired on Monday.
