Constitution only if UML's majority : Nembang

MANGALBARE, Ilam, Nov. 2: CPN-UML candidate for Constituency-2 in Ilam district and former Speaker Subash Nembang has said constitution will be drafted only when the UML garners majority in the election.



At an interaction organized here on Saturday at Lingdin of Jitpur in Ilam, he said UML will draft constitution in favor of the suppressed, dalits, farmers and workers. CPN-UML´s priority will be first constitution and then development works, he said.



Participating in the election mass meeting were party workers from Jitpur, Siddithumka, Sangrumgba and Mangalbare.



The constituency has 51,746 voters and other candidates are UCPN-Maoist´s Ramesh Kumar Lingden and NC´s Himalaya Karmacharya, among 13 candidates.
