Constitution has addressed in Madhesis' rights: NC Vice-Prez Poudel

RUPANDEHI, Dec 31: Vice-President of the Nepali Congress, Ram Chandra Poudel, has argued that the constitution promulgated from the Constituent Assembly has incorporated all the rights of the Madhesi community.



The Madhesi people were in agitation because rumors were spread about the constitution, he said, adding that the most benefitted from the new constitution are the Madhesi people.

At a program organized on the occasion of the 40th national reconciliation day here on Thursday, he said the bill on amendment of the constitution should be passed immediately to pave way for effective implementation of the constitution.



However, unity among government, opposition and agitating parties was essential to effectively implement the constitution. RSS
