Talking to journalists in his home district Saptari, today Commissioner Yadav said the election is indispensable to build a Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. [break]
In a democratic system, every party is free either to take part in the election or to boycott it, said Yadav, adding, “Since some of the poll-shy 33 parties have already come on board the electoral process, the remaining parties will not affect the election process.”
Yadav also urged journalists to seriously do reporting on the electoral activities as they are the poll campaigners. The media keep close tabs on the electoral candidates and monitor the jobs of the election commission as well, he stated.
With the lesson learned from the murder of UML candidate Alam in Bara, the election commission will move ahead with the utmost caution, Yadav added.
