CoAS extends cooperation to NHRC

KATHMANDU, Oct 13: Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Chhatra Man Singh Gurung on Tuesday met chief of National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). In the meeting, CoAS Gurung said that the NA would cooperate with the national human rights body in human rights issues.

The Directorate of Human Rights of Nepal Army said that the visit was a “curtsy” call by General Gurung after resuming office as the CoAS.
