CJ concerned over court security

KATHMANDU, Nov 30: Chief Justice Ram Prasad Shrestha on Tuesday asked all Appellate Courts to coordinate with local security personnel to ensure security of the judges, court staff and property.



According to Hemanta Rawal, assistant spokesperson of the Supreme Court (SC), CJ issued such a directive following bomb blast near the court building in Bhairawa on Monday and Nepalgunj on Tuesday.



Rawal informed CJ Shrestha on Tuesday also held talks with Chief of Nepal Police Ramesh Chand Thakuri over the issue of court security.
