"The CJ-led government and the appointments to the constitutional bodies were both controversial but a result of context and compulsion. These incidents have been a great learning", he said.
However, he said there was no point making it an issue of debate as it would weaken democracy and nationality, Koirala added.
Former Speaker Taranath Ranabhat, critics Dr Ramesh Kumar Dhungel and Dr Tulasi Bhattarai, and writer Shrestha shed light on various aspects of the book.
The 300-page book includes more than 46 articles and interviews relating to Shrestha on matters relating to Nepal´s democratic movement, transitional policy and the problems facing the nation.
