KATHMANDU, Dec 2: Chitwan Rhinos have delivered a commanding start against Janakpur Bolts in the 20th match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
Winning the toss at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Chitwan opted to bat first — a decision that paid off handsomely. By the end of 10 overs, the Rhinos had raced to 76 runs without losing a single wicket.
Openers Dawid Malan and Arjun Saud set the tone with an impressive, unbeaten partnership, stitching together all 76 runs in the opening stand.
Janakpur’s bowlers, meanwhile, have struggled to break through, failing to claim a wicket in the first half of the innings.
Chitwan Rhinos continue to advance from a position of strength, cruising at a healthy run rate of 7.60.
