Charity Bazzar in capital

KATHMANDU: Charity Bazzar, an exhibition and sale of Indian arts and handicrafts, is underway in the capital at Hotel d´Annapurna.



The expo inaugurated by Madhav Prasad Ghimire, Minister of Home and Foreign Affairs on Friday highlights the high quality handicrafts, fabrics, and other art works of more than 30 artisans from India. [break]



Organized by Indian Women´s Club (IWC), Charity Bazaar showcases popular Indian arts and handicrafts such as Rajasthani enameled jewelry, home furnishings, Kachch handloom woven products, Ayurvedic products, hand embroidered products, calligraphy wall hanging (toran), cushion covers, dress materials, Madhubani paintings, pottery and ceramic articles.



 Funds collected in the three-day long fair will be utilized to assist the needy social organizations of Nepal, organizers informed.
