The ministers, Secretaries and high-ranking officials welcomed Regmi at the International Airport at 8 pm.[break]
Leading a Nepalese delegation, Regmi had left for New York last Thursday. Despite requests from High Level Political Committee (HLPC), Regmi had flown to New York to take part in the 68th UNGA.
Regmi addressed the UNGA on Saturday. Similarly, he met UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Sigh on the sideline of the assembly on that day.
