The cameras also offer modes that allow users to use fish-eye effect to re-create fish-eye lens distortion, super vivid option to boost color saturation and miniature effects to make still scenes and videos look like miniature scale models, among others.

The only difference between the two cameras is IXUS 135 has Wi-Fi option, while IXUS 132 does not have this function. Agarwal said IXUS 135 is priced at Rs 18,990, while IXUS 132 costs Rs 15,490.

Another camera, A2400, has 28mm 5x zoom lens and has intelligent image stabilizer (IS). The 16-mega pixel camera also has 32 different smart auto modes and has various creative modes.

According to the company, intelligent IS option guarantees production of sharp and detailed photos and videos even in full zoom and low light, even if users shake the camera while taking pictures and videos.

"It automatically adjusts the optical IS to the scene from 6 modes to prevent production of blurred image or video”," said Agarwal. The company has priced the camera at Rs 11,500.

Agarwal said the company will be launching additional three cameras IXUS 255, A2500 and A2600 within May.

IXUS 255 comes with 24mm ultra-wide lens, 10x zoom with 20x zoom plus option. The 12.1-mega pixel camera with 3-inch LCD screen also has Wi-Fi and GPS options, and users can choose from 58 different smart auto modes, said the company.

The new entry-level PowerShot A2500 and A2600 provide point-and-shoot ease in a modern, compact and affordable design, the company said.
