CAN officials proposed to develop the district as an ICT hub during the sixth general assembly of the association. Former President of CAN, Sunsari Deb Subba said the accessibility of ICT, number of ICT activities and the interest of the locals makes the district an ideal place to be developed as an ICT hub. [break]He said the association is planning to work together with government bodies on this project.
CAN has also proposed to establish a computer museum in Dharan of Sunsari. The general assembly has also decided to expand CAN in other districts of the region.
