The meeting has decided to send regional administrator Aatmaram Pandey to the ministerial-level meeting on population and development strategy for Asian countries going to be held in China from July 9.
Similarly, as per the decision of the Council of Ministers, Auditor General Bhanu Prasad Acharya is to represent Nepal at a regional meeting on public accounts auditing to be held in Geneva on June 20 and 21.
Besides, the meeting has accepted the study leave of Auditor General Acharya. He is taking leave for carrying out a study of the Account System of Britain effective from June 10.
Likewise, Commissioner of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Keshab Prasad Badal, is to represent Nepal in the Asian ministerial-level conference against corruption.
Similarly, the meeting has decided to depute the United Nations resident representative in Geneva and Nepali Ambassador to take part in another ministerial-level conference on the information society.
The Council of Ministers has decided to invite the Indian Army Chief to the honour programme to be organised by Nepal-India Joint Military Mount Sagarmatha Expedition and Cleaning Campaign.
The meeting has decided to send the bill on ´Private Firm Registration (Ninth Amendment) Regulations- 2070 BS´ to the Cabinet bill committee.
Proposals on the change of organizational schedule and quota at the Department of Drugs Administration, National Health Education and Information Center and some health training centers and posts under the Ministry of Health and Population have been accepted by the meeting. The proposals were floated by the Ministry of General Administration at the meeting.
Responding to a query by journalists about the Constituent Assembly election ordinance, the Government Spokesperson said discussions about the matters were underway but no decision has taken yet.
