Binod Lama scored in either half to seal three points for Boys Union. Lama netted in the 25th and 76th minutes before Santosh Ghale pulled one back for Mahabir in the 79th minute.[break]
Following the result, Boys Union is level on 14 points with leader Tusal but lies in the second position on the basis of goal difference. Meanwhile, Mahabir with 10 points dropped one spot to the seventh position.
In another match, Birgunj Youth Academy beat Kathmandu Club 1-0 with a lone goal from Ravi Kumar Paswan in the 83rd minute. It was Paswan´s third goal in the league.
The result lifted Birgunj two spots to third with 13 points from six matches. Kathmandu Club lies on the relegation border, 12th position, with one point.
