Tusal took a 16th minute lead through Dhiraj Shrestha, who leads the goalscorers chart with nine goals. Subash Rai hit back the equalizer for Boys Union in the 23rd minute.
The day´s earlier match between Birgunj Youth Academy and Mahabir Club also ended 1-1. Ravi Kumar Paswan gave a fifth minute lead to Birgunj with his fifth goal in the league but Jeetendra Dimal leveled the scores in the 41st minute.
In another match, Kathmandu Club was defeated 3-0 by Samajik Youth Club. Yakub Rai, Santa Kumar Shrestha and Amrika Magar were on target for Samajik in the 35th, 43rd and 78th minutes respectively. Rai is currently the second highest scorer in the league with six goals.
Samajik moved one spot up to third with 16 points in its kitty, pushing behind Birgunj with 15 points to third. However, Samajik has played nine matches, one more than Birgunj. Meanwhile, Mahabir climbed one spot to seventh with 11 points while Kathmandu lies third from the bottom with one point.
