Bhattarai urges to speed up statue drafting

KATHAMANDU, Oc. 9: Vice-Chairman of UCPN (Maoist) Dr. Baburam Bhattarai said that political parties have been dilly-dallying to speed up constitution drafting and peace process.



At a function organised in Kathmandu on Saturday to exchange greetings on the occasion of Dashain and Tihar by Rasuwa-Kathmandu Republic Contact Forum, Dr. Bhattarai stressed for national consensus to bail the country out of the present political impasse. [break]



While maintaining that his party is always ready to forge political consensus, he said that the other parties have been snail-paced in resolving the political problems.



At the programme, other speakers underscored for maintaining emotional unity and harmony among all Nepalis.
