According to police, two children of Tilbir Darlami were killed here in Khanichhap-7, Amdanda, when a landslide buried his house. The deceased have been identified as Bishnu, 8, and Prem Kumari, 12, as they were watching TV at their neighboring house according to Sthaneshwor Regmi, Palpa district police chief.
Similarly, Durga Bahadur Sunari of Pipaldanda killed after a landslide swept away his house on Sunday night. Sunari´s son Chhabilal is critically injured in the incident.
Meanwhile, a woman has been killed when a landslide swept away her in Kuwakt VDC. The deceased has been identified as Rita Bhattarai, 25, as she along with another woman had gone to fetch water, according to Chapakot police station.
