Another victim of church blast dies

KATHMANDU, May 31: Buddha Laxmi Joseph, one of the injured of the May 23 bomb blast in Assumption Church, succumbed to her injuries at Patan Hospital Sunday taking the death toll of the blast to three.



Forty-five-year-old Joseph--mother of 15-year-old Celeste who was one of the two deceased along with Deepa Patrick -- died of internal bleeding at the Intensive Care Unit of Patan Hospital at 2:15 p.m. Sunday, a church source said.



A little-known Hindu fundamentalist group, Nepal Defense Army, has claimed responsibility for blowing up a pressure-cooker bomb inside the Catholic church at Dhobighat, Lalitpur.
