Air office closed

HUMLA, March 10: Local people along with representatives of civil society and political parties have padlocked the air office here in protest of hike in airfare. [break]



The offices of Tara Air, Kathmandu Air and Makalu Air and Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) have been closed for increasing fare from Nepalgunj Surkhet to Rs. 5,000 from existing Rs. 3,100.



The flights of NAC will not be allowed to land here even if it has not increased fare.
