“This decision to interfere in the Nepal Army shows an absence of intellect on the Maoists´ part,” said Nepal, addressing a press meet in Biratnagar on Thursday morning. “The move has done nothing except create confusion among the people about whether the Maoists are running the government as a civilian government or not.”
Nepal said that his party has not yet come up with an official stance on the row over government´s action against the army chief. “The party will make its official stance on the issue on Friday morning,” said Nepal. “The views made public by the leaders so far are purely their personal opinions,” he said. “It is not important who said what on the issue.”
