Army committed to saving country from challenges: Army Chief

UDAYAPUR, March 11: Chief of Army Staff Rajendra Chhetri today said Nepal Army is ready to deal with any situation that may befall the country, committed to its responsibility. It will do its part to save the country from any internal and external challenges in line with the new Constitution," he said while addressing an ex-Army Conference here. 


On the occasion, 91-year-old ex Army personnel Ratna Bahadur Katuwal was honoured. The conference was attended by 1,320 former Army personnel from Khotang, Solukhumbu, Okhaldhunga and Udayapur districts. At least 1,038 ex Army Men underwent medical check-ups at the camp.(RSS)
