4 Richter earthquake hits Solukhumbu

KATHMANDU, Aug 22: A 4 Richter scale earthquake hit Solukhumbu and surrounding areas at 7.07 AM, the National Seismological Center (NSC) said.

The earthquake's epicenter was Goli area of Solukhumbu district.

According to Bedinidhi Khanal, Chief District Officer, Solukhumbu, no casualty has been reported so far. 

On April 25, 2015, Nepal was hit by a 7.8 Richter scale earthquake that killed around 9,000 people in 32 districts.
