36 Bangladeshis with forged Nepali passports detained in Kuwait

KATHMANDU, May 1: Airport security  detained 36 Bangladeshis for entering Kuwait on forged passports issued by the government of Nepal, Al-Anba daily reported.



According to the report, all the detainees, who arrived into the country on different flights, have been referred to the public prosecution. [break]



The suspects during the interrogation have admitted to buying the passports from an unidentified person in Nepal.



To prevent ‘unwanted’ people from entering the country, a fingerprint system installed at the airport has proved successful, the daily added.
