POKHARA, April 5: Eleven people stranded in the middle of Fewa Lake due to a sudden gust of wind were safely rescued by the Armed Police Force (APF).
The incident occurred around 4:15 PM when the weather suddenly changed, leaving those enjoying boating in the lake stranded at its central area.

Upon receiving the report, a team from the Fewa Rescue Tower, deployed by the Kalika Battalion in Kaski, immediately rushed to the scene. The police successfully brought all 11 individuals back to the shore unharmed.
Among those rescued were 19-year-old Sagar Bhujel and 20-year-old Suman Chaudhary from Shuklagandaki Municipality-2, Tanahun, and 21-year-old Salina Pun from Bagmara-33, Pokhara Metropolitan City. Also rescued were 21-year-old Sushma Pun, 20-year-old Sanjita Magar, and 21-year-old Riya Magar from Annapurna Rural Municipality-3, Myagdi, along with several others.
Authorities confirmed that everyone is safe and unharmed following the swift rescue operation.
