KATHMANDU, Aug 11: Nepal Bank Ltd has said that its board of directors (BoD) held on Monday selected Janardan Sharma Acharya as the board chairman.
Issuing a press release, the state-owned bank said that Acharya assumed the post amid a ceremony held at the bank's headquarters.

Similarly, the bank has also said that Laxman Aryal, joint secretary of Ministry of Finance, has been appointed as the board director of the bank. The BoD of the bank comprises of five members including the chairman.
Three members are appointed from the government while two others are elected by the shareholders.
