KATHMANDU, July 5: Krishna Prasad Acharya has been elected as the chairman of the board of directors of Nepal SBI Bank Ltd.
The 394th board meeting held on Sunday unanimously elected Acharya to the post, according to a statement issued by the bank.
Acharya is the nominee director, representing local institutional promoter Employees Provident Fund (EPF). The post had been lying vacant after Hasana Sharma retired from EPF a couple of months ago. Acharya is the Administrator and CEO of EPF.
Nepal SBI Bank with its 73 offices, 86 ATMs with E-corner, Mobile Banking and INB Ulities is a technology driven financial services provider having presence in 13 zones out of 14 zones of Nepal, with a client base of over 6.25 lacs and complete range of financial solutions, according to the statement.
