The driver´s help Arjun Kumar Sah, 35, of Saptari, and another help Tara Chaudhary, whose address is yet to be ascertained died on the spot, according to police inspector Kul Prasad Chaudhary. [break]
Of those injured, 14 are receiving treatment in Lahan, while three seriously injured have been referred to Biratnagar for further treatment. Three are receiving treatment at Gaighat, while those with minor injuries have already returned home.
The bus was travelling from Dharan of Sunsari district to Gaighat of Udaypur district. The bus was carrying 26 passengers.
Tara Malla, the driver, said the accident happened while he tried to prevent the bus from hitting a man and goats crossing the road. Malla said he lost control of the bus while trying to dodge the man and the goats.
