KATHMANDU, Nov 23: Bishwa Prakash Sharma of Nepali Congress has been elected a member of the House of Representatives from Jhapa-1.

KATHMANDU, Nov 23: Bishwa Prakash Sharma of Nepali Congress has been elected a member of the House of Representatives from Jhapa-1.

Sharma defeated his neared contender Agni Kharel of CPN-UML by 14,275 votes. While Sharma has secured 39,624 votes, Kharel got 25,349 votes.
