Newly-appointed Minister for Law Gobinda Bandi takes oath of office and secrecy

KATHMANDU, April 7: The newly-appointed Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Gobinda Prasad Sharma (Koirala), also known as Gobinda Bandi, has taken oath of office and secrecy amidst a special function held at the Office of the President.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered his oath of office and secrecy as the new minister. Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, cabinet ministers and other high-ranking government officials were among the people present at the oath-taking ceremony.

Outgoing Minister for Law Dilendra Prasad Badu has been given the new responsibility of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies.
