Magnum Foundation recognizes two Nepali photo projects

Two Nepali photography projects, ‘Eclipse’ by Sagar Chhetri, and ‘Feminist Memory Project’ by Nepal Picture Library, have been recognized and selected to receive support from the prestigious Magnum Foundation Fund. Magnum Foundation Fund is a US-based program that supports photographers around the world to expand creativity and diversity in the field.
SC recognizes Rana-led NOC again

KATHMANDU, Jan 3: The Supreme Court (SC) has again given its verdict recognizing the Rukma Shamsher Rana-led Nepal Olympic Committee (NOC), scrapping all writs filed against it. With the decision, the court has upheld its previous decision to deny legitimacy to the committee of NOC led by CPN-UML leader and lawmaker Jeevan Ram Shrestha.
