PARBAT, Jan 12:  With the completion of the project development, the Setikhola Hydropower Project in Parbat district has started power generation.

LAMJUNG, August 29: The Dordikhola Hydropower Project in Lamjung district has begun test production from Sunday.

KATHMANDU, Oct 25: The government has made it clear that it has not stopped the survey of hydropower projects and issuance of permission for power generation. Stating that serious discussions are underway to provide quality electricity service and increase electricity consumption, the government has clarified that no decision has been taken regarding the permission of the project.

KATHMANDU, June 30: The final phase of testing to generate electricity from the first unit of the under-construction Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower Project in Bigu Rural Municipality of Dolakha is in full swing. The project is scheduled to start generating electricity from the first unit of the 456 MW project with 6 units each of 76 MW starting on Monday. After generating electricity from the first unit, electricity will be generated from the remaining units.

MYAGDI, Dec 21: The 42-MW Mistri Khola hydropower project has stepped up its preparation to generate power within a month.

SINDHUPALCHOWK, Dec 9: Bhote Koshi Hydropower Project (45 MW) has started power generation from Saturday.

KATHMANDU, March 20: The first unit of Upper Trishuli 3A Hydropower Project is starting generation by April 30.
