Coincidence strikes again: Oli returns to power exactly the same day three years later

KATHMANDU, July 14: Three years ago, on July 12, 2021 (Asar 28, 2078), CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli was ousted from the government following a Supreme Court verdict. Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba then assumed command of the government. Coincidentally, three years later, Sher Bahadur Deuba, president of the Nepali Congress, approached President Ram Chandra Paudel with signatures of support from his party to make KP Sharma Oli the prime minister.
