Nepal imported petroleum products worth over Rs 350 billion in one year

KATHMANDU, Aug 19: Petroleum products accounted for 18.87 percent of the country’s total import of Rs 1.592 trillion in the fiscal year 2023/24.

KATHMANDU, August 24: At a time when the government claims to be working toward replacing the use of petroleum products with electricity, citing an increase in domestically produced hydropower, the import of petroleum products has increased by a notable volume in the first month of the current fiscal year.
