KATHMANDU, May 28: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal today said that menstruation is a mark of a woman's motherhood.

KATHMANDU, April 16: The Ministry of Health has decided to celebrate the Nepali year 2075 BS and upcoming year as years for a special campaign for safe motherhood.

A mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take.

PALPA, August 24: The only medical college in Palpa that distributed the safe motherhood allowance to new mothers has stopped doing so. Lumbini Medical College has stopped providing the allowance to new mothers since a month stating that it pulled out of the agreement with the government because it was bearing loss.
