Nepal Lipi Guthi is organizing Ranjana and Nepal Lipi Art Festival on Saturday. The festival is scheduled from 11 am to 5 pm at Basantapur.

However, a number of academicians and organizations have stood to the challenge of preserving Kathmandu’s native language. They have been conducting programs, urging the natives not just to speak, but also to use the scripts of the Nepal Bhasa.

KATHMANDU, March 21: A workshop on ‘Nepal Lipi’ was organized at Art Pavilion, London on Sunday, March 17. The workshop was organized by World Newah Organisation (UK Chapter) as part of the World Newah Day (March 31) celebration worldwide and was chaired by Shashi Mahaju, chief editor of Matina Publications.
