Kotbada killings still haunt families

HEKRANG, Feb 23: Ever since the Kotbada airport became officially operational from February 11, the family members of the 35 airport construction workers killed during the Maoist insurgency have been forced to recall the dark day.

DHADING, Feb 14: On Saturday, Tara Air successfully conducted a test flight at the airfield at Kotbada in Kalikot district, but the families of 35 laborers who were shot dead there by the Nepal Army during the Maoist insurgency are still waiting for justice.
