KATHMANDU, Nov 14: For a very long time, I had been meaning to get away from all the noise around me. All that was happening around me had consumed me and I needed a breath of fresh air. So, this Saturday I decided to take that time for myself and go on a hike, alone. Yes, I went on a hike alone with some people I did not know. The idea of solo hiking turned out to be just what I needed to reset my mind.

While walking through the streets, you see a dog start barking at you what would you do. Would you bark back or would you just stop and listen to it bark at you. You certainly would not do any of the things aforementioned. Instead you would ignore it and walk away. So, why do you often find yourself listening to the opinions of other people that you know are not true? You cannot stop them from expressing their negative comment towards you but what you can do is not let their comments affect you. While this may sound easier said than done, it is not impossible.

KATHMANDU, Dec 2: Sushil Adhikari, 27, cannot see through his eyes. The visually impaired however has no regrets. He feels that even though he is deprived of physical eyes, he has been blessed with keen inner eyes.
