KATHMANDU, April 17: The Immigration Office of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) has requested the tourists to carry cash as the electronic transaction is cumbersome.

RASUWA, July 24: More than 10,000 Nepalis have so far acquired entry card to cross the border with China, according to the immigration office, Rasuwa.

ILAM, Oct 25: The government is working to set up an immigration office at the Pashupatinagar checkpoint in Ilam district to allow foreign tourists to enter Nepal through the checkpoint. Local entrepreneurs said the checkpoint would hugely benefit the tourism sector in eastern Nepal.
