Republicans must mend their ways to save republican system

A republic is a political system in which governance is conducted by elected representatives from the local to the central level. Nepal adopted this system on May 28, 2008, replacing the monarchy. The republic was born out of a combination of the Maoist armed rebellion, the aspirations of major political parties, and the will of the people.
