KATHMANDU, Jan 21: Tribhuvan International Airport has been temporarily closed in anticipation of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal's return to Nepal. Prime Minister Dahal, who is arriving in Kathmandu from Doha, is causing a brief halt in the airport's operations, with landings being suspended for half an hour to accommodate his arrival.

CHITWAN, Dec 23: The Narayangadh-Muglin road section will be closed for traffic for four hours a day starting today in order to allow work on chopping off a cliff to build a bridge over the Tuin River. The road will be closed from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

NEPALGUNJ, May 1: The Jamunaha transit point along the Nepal-India border here will be closed for two days. The border is being sealed in view of the Nagar Panchayat municipal elections in Bahraich District of India which adjoins Nepal’s Banke district. The election is taking place on May 4.
KATHMANDU, April 2: The two short distance roads to enter Kathmandu from Hetauda via Kulekhani will be closed for upgrading. Chitlang-Chandragiri-Thankot road and Kulekhani-Sisneri-Chaimale-Dakshinkali road section is also closed for upgrading.

TULSHIPUR, Jan 15: The crusher plants have been shut down in Dang as the Ministry of Home Affairs ordered the immediate closure of illegal crushers operating against the norms. On January 4, the ministry issued an instruction and on January 5, the District Administration Office, Dang, issued a public notice and instructed to close all the crusher plants in the district.

KATHMANDU, July 24: As announced earlier in May, India has decided to wind up “unauthorized” camp office in Biratnagar with effect from August 1. This comes after years-long refusal of Indian Embassy in Kathmandu to comply with repeated diplomatic correspondence from Nepali authorities to shut down the office.
