Govt-issued ID card can serve as voter ID card in by-election, says EC

KATHMANDU, Nov 29: The Election Commission (EC) has decided to allow eligible voters, who have not have voters' identity cards for some reason, to cast their ballots in tomorrow's by-election based on the biometric identity cards issued by the government bodies.
