Father-son duo arrested for selling land acquired for road construction

UDAYAPUR, June 10: It has been revealed that a piece of land belonging to the Gaighat-Kadmaha Sagarmatha Highway has been sold due to the negligence of the District Land Revenue Office (DLRO). District Police said that Shiva Prasad Dahal, 87, and his son Buddhi Prasad were arrested on Saturday for selling 7 kattha 19 dhur of land belonging to the Gaighat-Bagaha section of the road in Triyuga Municpality.

KATHMANDU, July 24: Mukesh Chaudhary took a break from his work in Kathmandu in June and went his hometown to sit in final examinations of Grade 12. Chaudhary, 21, works at a construction site and earns to help his parents. Chaudhary has already earned skills in construction work which he neither studied nor attended any training.
