Hearing on HoR dissolution writ petitions goes short of time; next hearing scheduled for Friday

KATHMANDU, Jan 13: The next hearing on the writ petition filed at Supreme Court against the dissolution of the parliament is scheduled for Friday as the hearing on Wednesday went short of time on Wednesday. The hearing being conducted on the constitutional bench witnessed the pleading for an extended full bench and constitutional bench.
Lawyers object to SC hearings on cases during lockdown

KATHMANDU, April 29: Nepal Bar Association (NBA) and Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) have expressed objection to the hearing of writ petitions at the Supreme Court at a time when the government has announced the lockdown period as public holidays.
